Can anybody tell me what this ring-like object is?

I came across this while traversing the universe lol. In the wikisky search bar paste:

5h47m24.59, +29(deg)20' 59.2"

its an orangeish ring. Any ideas?

Seem to me it's a defect on the red photographic plate of the DSS-2 survey: http://server1.sky-map.org/star_dss_ima ... 7&angle=.2
